Special Interest Groups
Special Interest Groups (SIG) cater to those with interests in particular branches of cartography. Currently there are five SIG's in the CCA:
- GIS and Geovisualization
- Cartographic Education
- History of Cartography
- Map Use and Design
- Mapping Technology and Spatial Data
The SIGs frequently serve as the focus for special sessions at the annual conference.
